2. Click on Domain/E-mail info
3. Click on Modify your existing e-mail for your Visual WebTools account
& domain name.
4. Follow the steps outlined on that page.

What
search engines am I submitted to?
We do not automatically submit your site to search engines, however we do provide a Submit to Search engine tool that allows you to submit your site to the search engines.
1. Login to the Visual WebTools Tools Manager by going to http://www.visualwebtools.com.
2. Once logged into the Tools Manager click on Edit domain / E-mail info from the My account section on the right hand side of the page.
3. Click on the button labeled Submit to Search engines
4. You will be presented with a list of search engine that you can submit your site to.
5.
Simply click on the name of the search engine you want to submit your site to.
The available choices are:
Add-URL-Free
AltaVista
Google
Lycos
Open Directory Project
6. After clicking on the name of the search engine you want to submit to you will be directed to the search engines website where you can submit your site with them directly.
Please
note: Submitting your site to search engines does not automatically guarantee listing in their engines. Neither Pacific WebWorks or the individual search engines can predict when and/or if your site will appear in search queries.

I
can't see everything on the screen. Why?
Your
display resolution needs to be set to a minimum of 800x600
(Please
note: that these are generic guidelines and are provided as a courtesy,
if you have problems with your display adapter, you may need to contact
your computer manufacturer for assistance.)

Click on the START button/lower left-hand corner of your screen
2. Go to Settings, a drop down menu will appear
3. Go to Control Panel
4. Double click on the DISPLAY icon
5. Click on the SETTINGS tab
6. Use the SLIDER/lower right corner/to change your screen settings to
a minimum of 800 x 600.
7. Click the APPLY button/lower right.
8. Click OK

1. Click on the Update tab

do I add an image to a page?
To upload an image do the following:
1. Login to the WebWizard
2. Click on the blue diskette on the top left of the toolbar
3. Click on Import file into project
4. Select the file you want
5. Click Open
Your file will be opened in the current folder you have open in the WebWizard.
Please
Note: Any images you upload must have the following extensions: .jpg,
.gif or .bmp
Once
the image appears in your list of local files, you can add the image to
the page by click on the image name & clicking on Place in Editor.

do I link my pages together?
To create an Internal link do the following:
1. Select the graphic or text that you wish to make into a link
2. Click the link icon in the toolbar
3. Click on Open Link Editor
4. Click on the blue select under internal
5. Select the internal page
6. Click Update
7. Click Update in the link editor

do I create an e-mail link?
1. Highlight the text or click on the image you want as the link
2. Open the Link Editor (chain icon)
3. Click on Open Link Editor
4. Select the type of link:

1. Place your cursor in the cell to left of the cell you are merging with

note that we do not provide support for HTML editing. If you are not comfortable
with HTML editing, you would need to speak with a web developer or someone
who is familiar with HTML.

1. Login to the WebWizard
2. Open the page that you wish to edit the html for

do I add products to my webpage?
Once you have your product information added in Clip on Commerce do the
following to set it up in WebWizard:
1. Log into WebWizard
2. Click on the update tab
3. Click on Product & Channel Data
4. Wait until it you see "update done", click OK
5. Click on the Clip on Commerce button in tool bar
6. Click on Edit Product Template
7. Follow the directions on the page for setting up the product template
8. Once you have committed your changes click on the on ClipOn Commerce
tool in the toolbar again.
9. Click on Insert Category / Product object
10. Select the category & product to add to the page & click on
Place product in editor.

can I add a form to my page?
To add a form to the page do the following:
1. Click on the WebProfiler tool in tool bar
2. Click on Add WebProfiler form
3. Enter in a name for the form & click update
4. You should see 2 yellow arrows on the page with the words form and
/form in them.
5. Add the elements for your form in between these form tags
6. Save the page when finished

do I define what keywords are used to find my site in the search engines?
To define this do the following:
1. Open the index.html page by clicking on the local file tab & clicking
on the blue icon to the left of the words index.html.
2. Click on the Meta tag editor tool (button looks like a big M)
3. Enter in the descriptions & keywords for your site & click
update
4. Upload your site to the Internet

made a mistake, can I undo the last thing I did?
Yes, as long as you have not exited out of the editor since the last change.
To undo a previous action click on the Undo button in the upper right
hand corner of the page (looks like an arrow pointing to the left, not
the back button in your browser) Or you can use the Keyboard shortcut:

I need to have an index.html page?
Yes you do. index.html is the start / homepage for your website.

just added a form / product to the page and I have a yellow arrow that
says form & /form. What are they?
These are called "Form Tags" they are necessary for the form
or add to cart button to function in the page. Please do not delete them.
Also, they will not appear on the live Website.

1. Login to ClipOn Commerce
2. Click on Add/Edit Products & Categories
3. Select a folder to add the product to
4. Click on Add a product to this category

6. Enter in all of the information for the product
7. Click on Add/Update product when finished

do I add an image?
To add an image that already exists in your database:
1. Log in to ClipOn Commerce
2. Click on Add/edit products & categories & open the product
that you want to add the image to.
3. Once in the product editor, click on upload
4. Click on the image to add & click update.
To
add a new image that is not yet in the database do the following:
1. Log in to ClipOn Commerce
2. Click on Add/edit products & categories & open the product
that you want to add the image to.
3. Once in the product editor, click on upload
4. Click on the Browse button
5. Locate the image on your computer
6. Click Open
7. Click Go
8. Wait until the file viewer refreshes, then select your uploaded image
from the list & click update.

can I see what forms have been submitted?
1. Log in to WebProfiler
2. Click on "Look up forms"
3. Select the form name you want to view & select a date range &
click Search.
4. You will then see the forms submitted with the date range you specified.

I have the results of a form sent to my e-mail address?
Yes you can. To have the results sent to an e-mail address do the following:
1. Log in to WebWizard & open the page that contains the form.
2. Click on the WebProfiler Tool in the toolbar.
3. Click on Edit WebProfiler Form
4. Click on Set Recipients
5. Click on Add Recipients
6. Enter in the e-mail address & click update
7. Click on update in the WebProfiler Editor
8. Save the page & update the site.

do I sent out a monthly newsletter?
You do this in 2 parts:
Part
1:
1. Open WebChannels
2. Create a Channel by clicking on: Add/Edit Channel
3. Enter in the name for the channel & click update.
4. Log into WebWizard
5. Click on the Update tab & click on: Product & Channel Data
6. Open the page that your customer will go to in order to subscribe to
your newsletter.
7. Create a form using WebProfiler
8. Once the form is created open the WebProfiler tool & click on
Add/Edit form action
9. Place a check mark in the box next to: This form adds the user to channel.
Then select the name of your channel from the pulldown list.
10. Click update
11. Upload the site

Note: This will send out the channel message
to everyone that has signed up for your monthly newsletter
1.
Log into WebChannels
2. Click on Compose And Send a Channel Message
3. Choose a channel to send the message to
4. Fill out all of the information & update it.

Can
I send an html e-mail message? instead of just text?
Yes, to do this while you are creating the message, Click on "this
is a web page" radio button. Then either select the page to be sent
or type the page name in the box. (This has to be a page that exists in
your website.)

can I set up an autoresponder?
1. Open WebChannels
2. Create an Autoresponder by clicking on: Create/Edit Auto-Response
3. Click on New, fill out the information & click done .
4. Log into WebWizard
5. Click on the Update tab & click on: Product & Channel Data
6. Open the page that has the form on it that will return an autoresponse.
7. Click on Add/Edit form action
8. Place a check mark in the box next to: This form returns an autoresponse.
Then select the name of your autoresponse from the pulldown list.
9. Click update
10. Upload the site

At the current time, the AOL browser does not work with the Visual WebTools
software. The AOL Internet connection is sufficient but you would need
to use the latest version of the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

I
am getting a message that says I have a demo, but I should have a full
account what do I do?
This will occur if you are missing critical WebWizard files on your computer.
To fix this do the following:
1.
Click OK to the demonstration version message
2. Another windows should appear that says "Critical files are missing...."
click OK to that message. If
you do not get the message about critical files missing click on upgrade WebWizard from the left step
3. Enter in your password when prompted & click OK
4. Wait until the
update done box appears, then click OK
You should now be using a full version of WebWizard.

I
am getting a blank page when I try to go into WebWizard, what is wrong?
This will occur when your Internet Explorer browser is not allowing you
to install and run Active X controls. To remedy this please take the following
steps:
You
will need to adjust the following settings in your Internet Explorer.
Please
note: there are guidelines for Internet explorer 5.x for version 6.x click
here if you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed click here.
1.
Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Click on the Security Tab
5. Click on the Custom Level button on the bottom of the screen
6. Starting with first item below Active X controls and plugins the following
options should be set, if they are not in the indicated setting please
change them to match what is on the list below:
Download signed ActiveX controls:
Enable
Run ActiveX control and plugins:
Enable
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting:
Enable
Under the cookies section both items should be set to enable
Under the downloads section both items should be set to enable
7. Now scroll down past the Download section, and look for a heading called
Microsoft VM or Java Permissions:
That should be set to Med. Safety.
Now click on OK, and say YES to any messages that popup
Click
Ok again, until your back to the browser
8.
Now go ahead and go back to http://www.visualwebtools.com & attempt to Login to WebWizard again, make sure that you click yes to any windows that appear.
For
Internet Explorer version 6.x:
1.
Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Internet Options
4. Click on the Security Tab
5. Click on the Custom Level button on the bottom of the screen

7. Now go ahead and go back to http://www.visualwebtools.com & attempt to Login to WebWizard again, make sure that you click yes to any windows that appear.

I
am getting Page Cannot be Displayed when I try to Login to WebWizard
This
occurs when files for WebWizard are missing from your computer. To reinstall
those files do the following:
1.
Close all open Internet Explorer windows
2. Open a new Internet Explorer window & go to this address:
http://www.visualWebTools.com/utilities/update_WebWizard.html
3. Login at that page
4. Wait until the update is complete, click Ok to the message that appears
5. Close that window & open a new Internet Explorer & Login to
WebWizard and it should be working.
